Certainly this sounds like your own beautiful haven, especially at this time of year. I feel that way about the lake I go to in Northern Michigan. I love the summer for the weather, being able to swim and enjoy the warmth but I don't enjoy the crowds in town, the proliferation of jet skis on the lake, the extra people. I like it quiet, so June and September/October seem to be my favorites. Lucky you, to see that graceful deer. Such a gift!Jeaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17482528482559445943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9799907.post-49447219040011184232015-06-12T13:43:46.297-04:002015-06-12T13:43:46.297-04:00sounds heavenly. :)sounds heavenly. :)TexWisGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13641962051044162710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9799907.post-61973779966160048642015-06-11T17:11:45.458-04:002015-06-11T17:11:45.458-04:00Amber: And you don't bark either, which is a n...Amber: And you don't bark either, which is a nice feature.

I think you *would* love the places I've gone to so far this summer.jo(e)https://www.blogger.com/profile/01488562158252331555noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9799907.post-33361119088843719472015-06-11T15:48:12.024-04:002015-06-11T15:48:12.024-04:00I'm loving your recent spate of blogging. I think another factor is that the public schools in the area are still in session, so families don't take vacations until July.jo(e)https://www.blogger.com/profile/01488562158252331555noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9799907.post-68236768797151396932015-06-11T14:33:48.789-04:002015-06-11T14:33:48.789-04:00I wonder if it is because the water doesn't wa...I wonder if it is because the water doesn't warm up til July?
