Good thing to ponder. There is nothing in the world so restorative to my inner life than those times of silence.... waking up and having a quiet mind. Heaven. You didn't by any chance go in Fr. Al's office did you? He has one of my paintings on his wall. :-)my15minuteshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17120108669030817877noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9799907.post-25359137627449470672010-03-22T23:21:14.785-04:002010-03-22T23:21:14.785-04:00I really admire your willingness to step outside y...I really admire your willingness to step outside your comfort zone, to seek it even. But yeah, I'm a definite extrovert. A silent retreat really pushes me out of my comfort zone, but that's why I love it.jo(e)https://www.blogger.com/profile/01488562158252331555noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9799907.post-49318787486066066452010-03-22T22:44:29.221-04:002010-03-22T22:44:29.221-04:00Being a strong introvert, I have to say that 5 day...Being a strong introvert, I have to say that 5 days of silence sounds like bliss. I would be fascinated to try a silent retreat with others. I know of a couple of them, I just have to find (make) the time for one.

jo(e), I initially took you for an introvert because you (willingly) take several retreats over the year and you are so attuned to yourself and others. You're so insightful and thoughtful. I know so many extroverts that don't tend towards those qualities that I forget insightful, thoughtful, attuned extroverts do exist ;-)Amber S.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9799907.post-77649195642465333952010-03-22T22:19:21.889-04:002010-03-22T22:19:21.889-04:00very nice picturesvery nice picturesWarwick Circlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13213362304942147556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9799907.post-80203091483805429512010-03-22T21:57:11.964-04:002010-03-22T21:57:11.964-04:00That river travels down this way and is about thir...That river travels down this way and is about thirty miles from where I live.
