I so love the fall. It's the colors and the sounds and the feelings of regret that the outdoor days will be over and the excitement that cool crisp and cold and dreary are coming. We have one more mountain driving trip planned. I love the smell of fallen leaves and the sounds of crunching leaves.
absolutely! And I can't imagine the students really care if they get the paper a few days later. I mean, you do have to have priorities, and in this area, at this time of year, the priority is exactly to savor each last ray of sunshine. All your pics of the foliage and the outdoors are gorgeous. The colors are incredible-- they almost look painted!
Here in NC, the leaves are juuust beginning to turn, and it's in the 50's-60's. Your photos make me miss the Berkshires, where my parents used to live. Fall there is spectacular.
