We traveled by foot or boat in this city where there are no cars, no buses, no parking lots, where side canals are quiet enough that you can hear the flap of clothes on laundry lines, a city where faded buildings rise from the water.
It's funny - I'm used to seeing so many plants and so much green in your photos ... but from this collection, it seems like there's NO growing stuff there, other than maybe the odd pot. Is that accurate?

ReplyDeleteAnonymous: Not much green inside the city itself, unless you count the water in the canals. I think that's why the window boxes are so noticeable.
