Yellow roses always remind me of my grandfather - he absolutely loved them. I've never seen as many of them as I saw at him funeral. I don't mean for that to sound maudlin. Yellow roses always make me smile.
I also initially thought this was a picture of "sad" flowers. The way they are laying there makes it seem as if someone was so upset they could not hold them any longer.
I don't understand why, but that picture struck me as incredibly sad. Beautiful photo.
