Lazy afternoon
On sunny days at camp, we spend most afternoons out at an island. Family members splash and swim in the cold river water -- and then drape themselves on the sun-heated rocks to get warm. This scene includes both my parents, a nephew, and three nieces.

I have to admit I hate cold water. People say they don't like to ski because they get too cold, but I've been much colder swimming in summer than I've ever been skiing!

I'd love to spend a day like that. It is too hot to lay out in the sun here!!
I am really enjoying your camp stories. As always the pictures are just gorgeous. What a treasure to have this family time and space.
