I know you've said that you're camera is a Kodak point and shoot, but man, the sharpness and colors are just amazing. Look at this picture! It's like those HD photography pictures that I like on Flickr (e.g. SkyShaper). I kind of want to buy one, even though what I really want is a Canon Digital Rebel.
That little piece of blue sky, looks like a whale. If you look just right and imagine a light blue whale swimming in dark waters, oh yeah, love the pictures.

Wow. That's so beautiful.
Your monking pictures are always so incredibly beautiful.
And if we're just a little bit lucky and willing to work at it, just a tiny bit of blue sky is enough.
Yay! I love blackface sheep!
So true.
Thanks. So different from the desert landscape where I live.
Thank you for sharing your lovely pictures with us. Happy Monking!
I always love your monastery descriptions. And the pictures knock me out.
maybe we don't need blue sky all the time. maybe we do need the landscape, and the nurturing clouds, and the other creatures who are so lovely.
These pics are so beautiful!
Gorgeous.
loved this ... and the jigsaw piece of blue sky.
You are an amazing photographer ... and writer.
That's so pretty it doesn't even look real!
Thanks for these, Jo(e). You probably already said somewhere, but what monastic order is this monastery? They sound very Benedictine.
Poor Mad Peter: Yes, it's a Benedictine monastery.

Beautiful.
Looks like a smile from Heaven.

I love all your pictures, but especially these in the last week or so.... You have a gorgeous eye!
I want to run away to your monastery!
Your photos are always so beautiful.
On a side note, I just finished reading The Mermaid Chair and now I'm even more fasinated by your monastary. :)
comebacknikki: That book has led all kinds of inappropriate jokes at the monastery ....
Thank you.
