LOL I said to my husband, "Wait -- what's wrong with this picture??" And he said, "Who's that cooking?" When I told him, he said, "Wow!" And then my son said, "Is he going to get a new name?"
Beemama: I know! All my boys have short hair now. I didn't even write a post about Shaggy Hair Boy cutting off his long curly hair this summer. But it's too confusing to change the pseudonyms. I have to say that my readers feel like family to me as well -- I've been blogging for almost 8 years.
I know -- I about had a heart attack when With-a-Why hit his milestone birthday. I remember when he was just a little older than the son who commented this morning. LOL It's a little telling that I can say to my husband, "So Jo(e) . . . " and he knows just who I'm talking about, and the whole back story to whatever I'm about to say. I'm glad you share your stories with us. They're good ones. :)
(And little kid, who commented on the name, looks up to your boys 'cause they also rock the long hair. Wonder if he's pondering a cut now?)
My son at NC State had shoulder length and just cut it all off at the suggestion of a friend. My advice to him has been to wear his hair how he likes it.
always good to make a nice breakfast. makes the day go so much nicer. keep up the good work, young man! this morning for us it was orange juice whole wheat pancakes with applesauce on top.
