Our driveway looks like a bobsled run, with tall sides of melting white and an icy track that our cars slip down. Little Biker Boy helped me bring in logs for the fire that's crackling and now he's upstairs asking Shaggy Hair to give him a turn playing a computer game. With-a-Why and I are sitting on the couch, looking at my photos from the Sunshine State. As I watch the snowflakes hitting the window, it's hard to believe that just a week ago, I was walking through mangroves in a t-shirt and shorts.

Oh, that is lush!
I wish we could tesser back and forth.
'sledding in the mangroves! I love the greens. And it'll be spring soon; friend of mine said his snowdrops were out and daffodils poking up green beneath this last storm...
The part of Sunshine State where I lived did experience moderate temperature changes with the seasons. There were days in February, for example, when we'd have highs in the 50s or 60s, but that's about as extreme as it got.
Eight more hours, and then you are free of February for another 11 months!
Yes, I'm very happy to see February FINALLY ending ....
