.... to enjoy the last rays of summer sun. Because after a chaotic week back on campus — meeting my new students, teaching classes, straightening out problems for advisees, attending meetings, and setting up fall programs — it's going to feel good to just sit on the green bench in front of the water and listen to the quiet.

Get a shot of that bench while you're there.

Have a great last blast of summer jo(e)! I'm jealous you have a fun place to go!
oh my gosh, jo(e)-- what a beautiful picture. You can almost smell the pine trees and feel the warm sun. Enjoy your peace.
Enjoy those last rays. I am guessing it won't be long before they feel like a distant memory.
love those last rays
Good for you! I always find the first week the hardest, so I was really, really happy to take Saturday off this weekend. Enjoy the long weekend!
Hope your last fling with summer goes well.
As always... beautiful pictures! I hope your last few days of summer are captured in your heart too.
What a spectacular photo!
Well, I prefer my own camp. Camping in your backyard is loads of fun, whatever your age. It's great for keeping the kids entertained, it offers opportunities to check the night sky, and its beauties.
I really like to enjoy those little moments when you don't have to do anything. you just have to sit and enjoy everything in the middle of a park.
