I was going to write a list of things I'd love to do someday. But the list got too long too fast. My problem is that I want to do everything and go everywhere. So instead I offer you a much shorter list of:
Things I've never done.
And don't want to.
I've never ....
1. Gone to a Disney theme park.
2. Eaten anchovies on pizza.
3. Worked out in an exercise room, health club, or whatever you want to call it.
4. Jumped from an airplane with a parachute.
5. Attended a professional football game.
6. Gone to a Starbucks.
7. Had sex on a waterbed.
8. Gone on a cruise.
9. Run a marathon.
10. Watched MTV.

I've done but don't care for 1, 2 (accidentally), 5, 7, 10
But I 3 and 6 a lot and will continue to do so. :)
The others ... no desire. At all.
So how come you don't want to have sex on a waterbed?
Anon: I get motion sick. I feel queasy even just sitting down on a waterbed. It's the same reason I have for not sky diving. Even though I'm afraid of heights, I think I would be willing to leap from a plane just to try it out but the motion of flying in a small plane would make me sick.
Every item on the list represents something that at least one of my friends or family members really loves. Funny how different tastes are.
I never want to try 4, 7, 8, 9, or karaoke. I like 2 and 3. I regret number 1.
Neat list! I've never been, but #8 seems pretty close to hell to me. I do #3 regularly (I'm one of those weird people who looooves working out) and #6 occasionally. Would love to try #4 once.
I've done all but 4,5, and 9. I did 8 under duress, but surprisingly, it wasn't bad. I'd actually do it again.
I would like to emphasize that if you do #1, you shouldn't take acid while doing it.
And if you do take acid while doing #1, go to some other theme park beside the Epcott center.
And if you must go to the Epcott center on acid, do not go with a girlfriend you have been fighting with continually for the past two weeks.
I'm just sayin'
so fascinating. I do #3 and 6 pretty regularly. Used to #10, and would again if we had the money & time for cable. Recently did #5 for the first time and it was way more fun than I ever would have imagined.
No desire whatsoever for #1, 2, 4, 7 (same reason as you), or 9. #8 is remotely possible...there's a yoga cruise that looks kind of cool. But those boats are such germ factories. And again there's the money and time factor. So it's unlikely.
So although my first response was "oh we are so different" because I work out 6 days/week and go to SB at least once or twice a week, the statistics suggest we are actually more alike. Interesting, the perceptions/statistics gap. (I'm no social scientist so I'll leave it at that)
