Cathy: Yes, that's one of the big differences between skiing and snowboarding. On skis, you can stand up while waiting for someone to catch up with you (you just put your skis sideways across the slope)but that's much harder to do with a snowboard. Snowboarders usually just sit right down on the snow.
Yeah, it was icy. We've had ridiculously warm weather lately, so everything keeps thawing and freezing. We really need a few feet of snow to get all the trails open again.

You look great. I was hoping that wasn't a "knee" photo. Glad you were just getting ready.
That's my niece in the photo.
She's halfway down the mountain. She and the rest of the gang were waiting for me so we could finish the run together.
I should add, Julie, that I love that you mistook my beautiful sixteen-year-old niece for me! That kind of comment does wonders for my self-esteem.
That is a cool shot.
I guess you have to wait sitting down when you are on a hill. Otherwise you would slide down on that thing.

You have such an eye for composition!
Wish I was there. LOL.
Looks icy! -- But bluebird weather; what a great day!

But we had a good day anyhow.
