In early spring

In early spring

the drainage ditches are filled with cold water, algae, dead leaves. Plus the reflection of sky and trees.

Leave it to you to find the beauty in a sewer.

I LOVE taking pictures of reflections in water. I hike the woodland trails around where I live three or four times a week and reflections of the forest always intrigue me. They turn my surroundings into a painting. The ripples in the water caused by a strong breeze makes a nice picture. And sooo... I think your drainage ditch painting is absolutely great!

Do you have Flickr photostream? I would really like to see more of your pictures. They're always so artistic and interesting.

Visit my photostream sometime when you have a minute. http://www.flickr.com/photos/argonone

I'm catching up with you here and this series of photos is utterly breath-taking - a real spectrum of the coming of spring in the north. Love it. Thanks for keeping that going.
